Web Developer

About the Job:

We are seeking a full-time Web Developer with 5 or more years of coding experience for its Las Vegas location. The Web Developer will develop and maintain our websites as well as coordinate with our existing team to develop new site functionality, answer support questions, and more. S/he must follow company policies, practices, procedures, and assure the highest level of accuracy. The ability to effectively accomplish all assigned tasks is critical. Familiarity with all necessary office equipment and procedures is also required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our websites, including Toolup.com.
  • Develop new site functionality, fix bugs and implement new designs.
  • Develop solutions for our ERP/Backend, NetSuite.
  • Answer code related support cases.
  • Work with our team and external partners to roadmap and implement a feature.
  • Work designs/html into Handlebars.js templates.
  • Develop improved workflows for NetSuite.
  • Maintain punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements. Manage and safeguard software media and associated licenses.
  • Respect confidentiality in discussing internal matters related to information technology.
  • Participate in fostering an organizational culture that values innovation, promotes inclusion, and inspires excellence in the work environment.
  • Complete other related duties assigned by supervisor and/or department management.

Qualifications:

  • At least five (5) years programming experience with a strong understanding of JavaScript.
  • Backbone.js experience or experience with MVC preferred.
  • Prior experience in an e-commerce environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience using Netsuite preferred.
  • Ability to effectively gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems and suggest solutions.
  • Eagerness for solving problems and commitment to accepting responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel.
  • Ability to learn and understand new computer programs quickly.
  • Enthusiasm for working in an organization where structure is evolving and flexibility and teamwork are necessities.
