Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Project Manager to join our Water and Wastewater team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves managing a variety of municipal infrastructure projects—from initial planning and permitting through detailed design and construction administration.
This is an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our regional water/wastewater practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Oversee technical teams and coordinate with subconsultants
- Serve as Engineer of Record for major deliverables
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality protocols
- Direct client communication and project reporting
- Support business development, proposals, and client presentations
Technical Focus Areas Include:
- Water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution systems
- Wastewater treatment facilities, sanitary sewer rehabilitation, and pump station design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina, or able to obtain within six months
- 5+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills
- Proven ability to deliver complex utility projects on time and within budget
