To be successful, this job necessitates hands-on management of daily operations.
Job Duties:
- Achieves warehouse operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; and identifying trends.
- Manages warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures, as well as following processes for receiving/shipping products, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Manages warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating and recommending new equipment.
- Manages warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing workflow, manpower, space requirements, and equipment layout; implements necessary changes.
- Manages the daily activities of staff.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating patrols with the security department.
- Accomplishes warehouse operations and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
- Upholds compliance with organizational protocols.
- Exhibits effective communication with strong verbal and written skills.
- Generates weekly KPI reports highlighting operational milestones.
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Have a commonsense approach to solving operational and commercial concerns.
- Be proactive instead of reactive.
- Be sure operations is fully trained to do their job and other jobs as required.

Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Minimum of 10 years Food Processing experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
