Job Description
The Trust & Estate Attorney is responsible for providing legal counsel and advice to clients on matters related to trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of trust and estate law and be able to provide strategic advice and solutions in the best interest of the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation
- Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients
- Draft and negotiate various trust and estate documents
- Advise clients on estate planning, charitable giving, and other related matters
- Provide counsel for trust and estate disputes
- Ensure compliance with trust and estate laws on a state and federal level
- Keep up to date with changes in trust and estate laws and regulations
- Handle trust and estate administration and litigation
Qualifications:
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state in which you wish to practice
- 3-5+ years of experience in trust and estate law
- Strong knowledge of trust and estate law and regulations
- Excellent communication, research, and writing skills
- Ability to provide strategic advice and solutions
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
