Lockport, NY trucking company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Dispatcher to join their logistics team
Pay - $18-$20, depending on exp.
Shift - Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p

Lockport, NY - ON Site Daily duties include
- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication between drivers and customers
- This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for drivers to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to relay information regarding schedules, delays, or changes
- Monitor freight movement and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during transit, including rerouting or rescheduling as necessary
- Data entry of loads in dispatch/accounting system
Skills needed
- Experience with logistics, trucking, or supply chain.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Know the geographic area
- Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Be able to work well independently
Must have -
- 1+ years of Dispatch experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
