Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Line Operator for our swing shift team. In this role, you’ll oversee and operate automated manufacturing systems, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and safe production. Your ability to monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production flow will be essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and adjust production line systems
- Perform quality checks and ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot equipment and system errors to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Log production data using computer interfaces or control panels
- Support equipment setup and line changeovers as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
- Experience in an automated or computer-controlled manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with HMIs, PLC interfaces, or robotic equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in production
- Physically able to lift, stand, and move in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable using software to monitor and log production data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in automation, machinery operation, or OSHA safety
- Experience reading technical documents, blueprints, or manuals
- Background in preventive maintenance or system optimization
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
