Position Overview:
We’re looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Social & Community Intern to join our team this summer! You’ll work closely with our Community Manager to support content creation, community engagement, events, and social scheduling. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing wellness brand while building your resume in social media and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for Chirp’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
- Engage with our community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions
- Monitor trends, user-generated content, and relevant conversations
- Help brainstorm and create content for TikTok and IG
- Track engagement metrics and assist with weekly social reports
- Help with event planning or activations as needed
- Help with tasks that come up for events or PR like printing off discount cards and shipping them out to different events
- Support local events through booth setup, engaging in product demonstrations, and assisting with product sales as applicable.
- Assist with shipping products out via Shopify to influencers/ events/ PR partners
- Source interesting influencers and send to Community manager
Requirements:
- A strong interest in social media, marketing, or communications
- Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Strong communication and writing skills
- A self-starter with great attention to detail
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus
- Bonus: interest in wellness, fitness, or pain relief
Details:
- Part-time (15- 25 hours per week)
- Summer internship (June– September)
- Paid hourly ($12- $15 per hour)
- In office with 1 work from home day
