Job Description

Ainsley Search Group is working with a leading privately held beverage manufacturer in South Jersey to identify a hands-on Regional Safety Manager to drive a strong safety culture across multiple production sites. This individual will be a key member of the EHS leadership team, reporting directly to the VP of Environmental, Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all safety programs and initiatives across manufacturing and distribution facilities in the region.
  • Develop and standardize safety policies, procedures, and performance metrics (KPIs); build alignment across plant leadership.
  • Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards and maintain awareness of evolving regulations to keep compliance measures up to date.
  • Own workers’ compensation case management, including injury documentation, root cause analysis, and follow-up with insurance carriers and third-party providers.
  • Conduct site safety audits and risk assessments; lead safety committee meetings and plant-level engagement to reinforce a culture of safety.
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks; provide on-the-floor coaching and mentoring to operations leaders and frontline staff.
  • Oversee compliance for PPE programs, equipment safety inspections, and emergency response protocols.
  • Lead industrial hygiene testing (noise, air quality, exposure) and manage corrective action plans where applicable.
  • Partner with HR and operations teams to manage incident response, reporting, and corrective actions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in multi-site safety leadership within a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics setting.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and injury/illness recordkeeping requirements.
  • Proven track record managing workers’ compensation and safety training programs.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • CSP or other safety certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Food or chemical manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
