PALS required, but can start pending Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST) NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained w/in 2 years of start date) Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file) Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center / stroke unit Familiar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes This facility requires the COVID vaccine - no exemptions, no exceptions **Flu shot required!
