Successful candidates will have the following:

* Unencumbered RN license in the state of North Carolina

* Minimum 7-years RN experience with a strong background in geriatrics or home care

* Reliable Transportation, current auto insurance and a valid driver's license

* Willingness to travel the greater Mecklenburg County and Lake Norman areas

* Excellent communication, listening, organizational and problem-solving skills

* Strong computer skills

* Excellent teaching and training skills

Duties and responsibilities:

· Performs initial and ongoing clinical assessments of clients in their place of residence and drafts a customized plan of care

· Interacts with client families and others on the AMADA team to ensure a well-orchestrated, multidisciplinary approach to client needs and desires

· Leads classroom training and ongoing supervision for field staff of caregivers

· Ensures ongoing appraisal of client needs to determine appropriate care and service

· Ensures compliance with State regulatory requirements for the home care agency
