BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

At least eight to ten years’ experience as a project manager with a large industrial coating firm, managing large and small projects and crews.
Must possess a NACE CIP Level 1 or Level 2 credentials.
At least five years of estimating/quoting industrial coating projects.
Experience blasting and applying protective coatings.
Experience in a quality assurance role and documenting required project information for customers and the Company.
Familiarity with NACE/AMPP standards, surface preparation and coating systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and ensure execution of all phases of industrial coating projects from quoting to completion of the project.
Project estimating and costing.
Build relationships and work well with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
Monitor budgets, schedules, safety compliance, and quality standards.
Supervise field teams to ensure efficient operations.
Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and client updates.

SKILL SET

Ability to estimate/quote projects accurately.
Demonstrated track record and experience managing crews to complete projects safely, at a high quality level, productively and profitability.
Effective management of all aspects of a project including quoting the project through completion of the project.
Excellent communication and organizations skills.
Leadership skills and ability to mentor and train field staff.
Display a strong commitment to working safely and being an advocate of the Company safety program.
Fluency in Spanish is desired but not required.
