Plant Manager

• Location: Chicago (60624)
• Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 | Full-Time with Benefits/Bonus
• 1st shift 6am - 3pm
• Food Industry, Meat or Protein is a must

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our food manufacturing facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing production, maintenance, quality, and shipping teams to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities as the Plant Manager:

• Direct and coordinate all plant operations and staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety (BRCGS, HACCP), quality, and OSHA standards
• Analyze production efficiency and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with HR on labor relations and staff development
• Oversee equipment maintenance and facility inspections
• Conduct Manager meetings and champion Plantwide leadership

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of plant management experience in the food industry
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, production machinery, and union environments
• Meat/Protein experience is needed
