Available Shifts (Monday-Friday)

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Introduction:

The production associate is a mid-level position that drive the production line within the plant. Responsible for ensuring roasting and flavoring of product is done correctly and per order specifications and ensuring quality of product.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment that roasts sunflower seeds
• setting and adjusting temperature and time controls for roasting process
• sampling product and comparing with established product standards
• load machine with flavors or seasoning per order instructions
• Adjust production equipment to meet quality standards
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of machinery
• Completing quality reports and other necessary documentation
• Must be willing to stand for long periods of time, be on time, and attend work daily
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and do repetitive movements

Job Requirements:

• 1-year experience in industrial processing, line manufacturing or other line production
• Previous food manufacturing or production preferred
• Forklift experience, preferred
• Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control in work where product quality is of the highest priority.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work overnight shift and have reliable transportation to Horace, ND.
