Job Title: Product Owner Cloud Security Development Team

Location: Bellevue, WA | Atlanta, GA (Onsite - Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to join our Cloud Security Development team . As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of cutting-edge security products and features to protect our cloud environments and applications.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) , cloud security best practices , and a demonstrated ability to lead product development in an agile and DevOps-driven environment .

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Roadmap and Strategy:

    • Develop and own the product roadmap for cloud security solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and security objectives.
    • Continuously refine and evolve the roadmap based on business priorities, technical feasibility, and customer needs.
  2. Product Execution:

    • Define and deliver security product features and initiatives to safeguard cloud environments and applications.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security engineers, DevOps, development teams, and stakeholders, to define and implement product requirements.
    • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing security needs with innovation and business value.
  3. Cloud Security Expertise:

    • Leverage expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to design and operate cloud-native security tools and services.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory obligations, and external security standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO).
    • Implement robust security controls to proactively address emerging threats in cloud infrastructures.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and issues.
    • Engage with teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality security solutions.
  5. Agile and DevSecOps Integration:

    • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps principles.
    • Work effectively in agile development environments, ensuring teams focus on delivering high-value security features.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • AWS Certified Security Specialty
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Experience:

    • 5+ years in product management with a focus on cloud security or cloud-native product development.
    • Proven experience developing security solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP , including familiarity with security services like AWS Shield and Azure Security Center .
    • Hands-on experience in agile environments and implementing DevSecOps principles .
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS, ISO).
    • Proficiency with product management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
    • Expertise in backlog management, refinement, and prioritization.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Leadership skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical teams.
