Develop optimal process conditions using decoupled molding techniques for new product launches.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to molding processes materials or equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Evaluate tooling for potential improvements in quality and efficiency providing recommendations to optimize molding processes setups and overall manufacturing.
Collect analyze and interpret process data to enhance process capability and performance.
Maintain and update mold process sheets to ensure they reflect the most accurate process settings.
Train and support process technicians in the application of scientific molding principles.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives including cost reduction efforts and efficiency enhancements.
Apply Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other methodologies to analyze process capabilities and implement process improvements.
Program and finetune robots and peripheral equipment to support automated processes.

Qualifications:

Over 5 years of practical handson experience in injection molding.
Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes and ancillary equipment.
Comprehensive understanding of various thermoplastic materials and their properties.
Exceptional problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail and precision.
