Job Description
My client, a lower middle market private equity firm based in Nashville , is seeking one Associate to join their small, highly engaged team. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across all aspects of investing and portfolio management, including attending portfolio company board meetings, with direct mentorship from senior team members.
Ideal Background:
- 2-3 years of investment banking experience
- Exposure to Business Services is a plus
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior team members on deal execution from start to finish
- Conduct diligence and prepare investment memoranda
- Attend portfolio company board meetings and gain firsthand operational insight
- Support marketing, fundraising, and investor communications
- Receive mentoring and guidance directly from Partners and Principals
- Take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative, growth-focused environment
