Job Description - Obtains and processes clinical specimens for testing and performs various clerical duties in the clinical laboratory.
- Assigned job duties are performed independently and he/she assists other personnel in the operation of the laboratory.
- He/she delivers reports to nursing units and communicates with the responsible health care providers via mail, telephone, and fax.
- He/she is under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and Administrative Director, Laboratory.
Requirements - Valid Certified Phlebotomy Technician certificate issued by the state of California Department of Health Services
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
