Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Description:

This position is responsible for researching and screening orders, accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system in a timely fashion, and/ or thinking through and solving escalated prescription issues.
Technicians will direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification, enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained, and complete appropriate patient letters.
Must be able to resolve and Enter Incomplete Prescriptions after clarification is obtained. Assist/perform other pharmacy functions and duties as required.

Required Qualification:

Completion of Pharmacy Tech Training Program, must have an active Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Tech License OR Pharmacy Tech Trainee License.
3+ months of Pharmacy Experience.
Have basic Computer Knowledge and Typing Skills.
Adept at Reading/Interpreting Prescription Terminology and Medications.

Traineeship, Monday to Friday, Shift work,
