Job Description

PURPOSE:

As a North America Payroll Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining employee satisfaction by ensuring accurate compensation and benefits disbursement, compliance with legal requirements, and efficient payroll operations. You will lead a North America payroll team, responsible for payroll administration, reporting, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data input, calculations, deductions, and taxes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Manage a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

· Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of ADP with SuccessFactors and accounting systems.

· Review and audit payroll reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

· Stay updated with changes in labor and tax laws, ensuring payroll processes remain compliant.

· Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and reports to government agencies.

· Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies from employees and management.

· Reconcile payroll accounts, perform variance analysis, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

· Develop and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

· Participate in the implementation of new payroll systems or software upgrades.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 10+ years of experience in payroll administration, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

· Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation from the National Payroll Institute (NPI).

· In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, wage and hour laws, and other related compliance requirements for US and Canada.

· Strong proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

· Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of meeting strict deadlines.

· Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with cross-functional teams, employees, and external partners.
