Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Payroll Coordinator in Conshohocken, PA
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite) - Conshohocken, PA 19428
Pay rate: $20-$23.76/hr
Responsibilities:
- Specializes in key payroll and tax-related projects as directed by payroll management.
- Compiles, prepares, processes, and inputs payroll information to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.
- Maintains data integrity by entering payroll information accurately and completely into the system.
- Administers all payroll-related functions in compliance with Corporate Payroll Department standard operating procedures.
- Audits and approves payroll transactions to ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Prepares manual payments and maintains documentation by SOX requirements.
- Manages all aspects of payroll processing, including interfacing with payroll systems and the Kronos timekeeping system.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding personal, salary, and benefits data within the HRIS system.
- Researches and promptly resolves associate issues, requests, and inquiries related to payroll.
- Ensures timely processing of assigned pay groups for centralized payroll execution every other week.
- Collaborates closely with other departments within HR Shared Services to support payroll operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of directly related and progressively responsible payroll experience.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
- Proficient in payroll processing software, preferably Workday.
- Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and payroll tax applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to develop and implement processes that support successful audit outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
