Job Responsibilities

Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis.

Under general supervision of the Chief of Public Safety, provides general security for the campus to include controlling vehicular and pedestrian access at security gates; checking/verifying college issued identification credentials for faculty, staff and students and driver's license or other acceptable identification for all visitors; logging required information and providing general guidance for all visitors entering the campus; opening and closing buildings, and maintaining general awareness of security and safety on the campus.

Enforces the rules and regulations as a Parking Enforcement Officer for the College. Patrols parking areas and tickets any vehicles that violate established rules and regulations. Assists in directing traffic and reporting violations to the Chief of Public Safety. Other security and safety duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High school diploma and one (1) year of security experience.
