Operations Associate (Part Time)

Wings Air Helicopters, located at Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains, NY, is seeking a part-time Operations Associate to join our growing team. Since 2002, we have been providing a variety of helicopter services, including charter flights, curated experiences, tours, flight training, and aerial cinematography.

The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, a good multitasker, well-mannered, and enjoys interacting with people. The Operations Associate will greet and check in passengers upon arrival, ensure that all documentation and payments are completed before flights, assist with special requests, and offer additional services. 

The most important responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety of passengers and team members on the ground. Candidates should be able to walk and stand for extended periods, be comfortable in and around moving aircraft, escort passengers to and from helicopters, set up props for special events, and tolerate outdoor conditions well.

This position is part-time with a variable schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, primarily during evenings and weekends (Friday-Saturday-Sunday), based on schedule demands. The candidate must be locally based within a 30-minute drive of Westchester County Airport (HPN), with reliable self-transportation.

Job Description:

• Check in and escort passengers to and from helicopters;
• Upsell additional services, provide safety information, and handle complaints, if any;
• Tidy up helicopters after flights and keep hangar organized;
• Assist with special events (proposals, gender reveals, etc.) as needed;
• Light office duties as needed.

Requirements :

• Valid US work authorization;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Fluent in English;
• Live within 30 minutes of Westchester County Airport with reliable self-transportation;
• Pass a background check and drug test.

Preferred but not required:

• Customer service experience;
• Foreign language skills;
• Aviation experience or interest.
