**Job Summary:**
Responsible for compliance, growth of business, development and profitability of department in accordance with annual business plan and Budgets.
**Essential Functions:**
* Assumes accountability for:
+ Best operational practices
+ Employee development goals, performance, productivity and morale
+ Customer service levels, business development and growth
+ Meeting/exceeding all corporate performance KPIs
+ Accurate billing practices
* Responsible for profitability through:
+ Budget monitoring
+ Cash flow analysis ( A/R,COTS,ACH,Open Job )
+ Performance monitoring ( Radar reports )
+ Market/customer analysis
+ Preparation of quotations for new/existing business
* Responsible for all operational issues within the department and problem resolution.
**Other Responsibilities:**
* Provide sales support as necessary.
* Manages Partnership / Agent relationship development
* Performs Bid/RFI/RFQ cost/benefit analysis & price authorization.
Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years industry experience, 1 in a managerial/supervisory position
* 2 years of college and/or an additional 2 years of industry experience
* Knowledge of Transportation industry, Import/Global transportation/Regulatory and business development
* Standard hours and additional time as necessary
* Must maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times
