About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions. This position plays a critical role in patient care and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures (PET, SPECT, gamma camera, etc.)
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety
- Operate, maintain, and perform quality control on imaging equipment
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care
- Process and analyse imaging data for physician interpretation
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and anatomy
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
