The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a dedicated Networking Helpdesk Summer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to our efforts in providing seamless network solutions, aiding in troubleshooting, and gaining hands-on experience. This role is imperative to ensuring our network systems run smoothly and efficiently, while learning from seasoned professionals in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Networking Helpdesk Summer Intern, your key tasks will involve:
- Assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting networking issues.
- Supporting our team in managing and maintaining our networking infrastructure.
- Responding to network-related helpdesk requests from internal team members.
- Documenting incidents and escalating complex issues to senior team members.
- Participating in network upgrade and optimization projects.
Desired Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for technology.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous internship experience in a similar role.
- Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA A+.
- Experience with network diagnostic tools.
- Experience in a customer or user support role.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, as this will be a full-time role.
