Position Summary .

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Metal Fab & Rolling Shop Manager, located in Whitestown, IN. The Metal Fab & Rolling Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing and performing daily shop operations, estimating, ordering, managing shop activities, shipping and ensuring high-quality customer experiences. The manager will also coordinate fabrication processes, hire team members, supervise team, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Education / Experience

• Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Related industry experience preferred.

Qualifications and skills

• Shop Management skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Customer Service and Customer Experience skills
• Proficient in reading drawings, welding, fabrication and rolling is a must
• Experience with Faccin and Heller plate rolls along with Carrol angle rolls a plus
• Ability and willingness to learn and be trained.
• Some construction experience preferred.
• Capable of passing required physical examination
• Able to speak and comprehend basic English. (Bilingual a plus)
• Good attendance and positive attitude.
• Knowledge and skills to use basic tools.
• Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure.
• Understands and can apply basic mathematical skill

Physical Requirements

• Industrial Plant environment.
• Frequent Walking/Standing (6+ hrs/day).
• Frequent lifting (up to 10 lbs).
• Infrequent lifting (up to 25 lbs).
• Max lift (up to 40 lbs).
• Frequent climbing of ladders
