Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our client’s diagnostics team in Seattle, WA . This is a full-time, contract position.

Location: Seattle, WA 98134

Duration: 7/14/2025 – 1/3/2026

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Certifications: ASCP required (Generalist)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity testing across all major lab disciplines (Generalist)
• Handle specimen processing, analysis, result reporting, and documentation
• Maintain QA/QC protocols, troubleshoot instruments, and document corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and lab-specific safety guidelines
• Report STAT and critical values per SOP; interact with internal teams and clients

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry (Associates acceptable if qualified under CLIA)
• ASCP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of high-complexity clinical lab experience preferred
• Strong multitasking and computer skills
• Familiarity with generalist bench workflow across departments
