Insight Global is looking for a junior level/entry level Mechanical Engineer to sit in Largo, FL , with any experience or interest in the aerospace engineering industry. Looking for an engineering degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with any intern/project/professional experience in the aerospace engineering industry preferred. This a 12 month contract with possible extensions!

Job Summary:

This role focuses on upkeeping and maintaining the Weight & Balance work scope for a large aerospace mechanical design programs. The responsibilities are less design-focused and more centered on reporting, number crunching, data investigation, and weekly reporting on integration of models, etc.

Looking for:

• Ability to work 40 hours a week in office, typical office hours in Largo, FL
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, plus 1+ years of engineering experience (professional, intern, or educational)
• Data driven - and comfortable being in a research and reporting focused role (with less emphasis on design)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent Math skills
• Someone who excels in investigating & gathering data for the reporting aspect of engineering
• AutoCAD or Solidworks experience; CATIA is a plus
• Understanding reporting on Weight & Balance, integration of Models, etc.
• Strong communication skills
