Coordinate the daily activities of the Assembly Line team.
Be proficient in all processes within the departmental area and able to act as trainer and mentor to new associates and associates undergoing cross-training.
Understand and use basic BPS principles on a daily basis to optimize processes and ensure on time delivery of components to assembly lines.
For Associates looking to work on the Assembly Lines, the tasks include but are not limited to:
Reading and understanding work instructions, as well as training others to these standards, and/or training others to Engineered-to-Order Special Handling Sheets (i.e.: SHS). Also, reading and interpreting product drawings, building appliances (i.e.: units), using manual and power tools, using measuring devices, performing functional tests, performing inspections, identifying defects, labeling non-conforming materials, reworking units as needed, and understanding the fundamentals of material handling.
Rate Range: $23/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
