Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-minded Production Operator to support the assembly and configuration of medical device products, including handheld electronics. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute production processes for mobile device assembly and configuration
  • Follow approved work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards (FDA 21CFR, ISO 13485, cGMP)
  • Perform testing using touchscreens, fixtures, and pneumatic tools
  • Identify and report quality or safety issues; collaborate on resolutions
  • Physically and systematically move, assemble, and transact production materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory via data entry and cycle counts
  • Support labeling, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace suitable for medical device manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production or manufacturing (medical device/electronics preferred)
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Basic familiarity with mobile devices and touchscreen interfaces
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) and MS Office preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 5–20 lbs frequently; up to 20 lbs occasionally
  • Frequent reaching above shoulder; occasional reaching below waist
