This is a temporary position intending to last from mid-June through the end of October (2024). Onsite 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday), Remote 2 days per week (Monday, Friday) The Manager of Finance is a talented, dynamic, creative and competitive individual responsible for the annual budgeting process and monthly and quarterly financial forecasts. This position is also responsible for leading the financial support and business partnership for the Indirect, Direct, International business segments and internal marketing teams. This role reports to Pura Vida's General Manager and requires significant teamwork with all levels of the organization. Responsibilities Financial planning and forecasting for all key areas of the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow. Manage strategic aspects of the planning process, raising key issues with functional leaders and framing discussing with the executive team. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Assist with the annual planning process for all business segments and responsible to communicate the annual plan and forecast to executive management. Lead the weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast process for all business segments Provide executive level review of business trends and financial forecast on a weekly basis Partner with business leaders to analyze and evaluate new and current business initiatives Ensure current business trends and business initiatives are reflected in the financial planning process Work with business leaders to develop forecasts, understand variances, and recommend business process improvements Partner with parent company during the monthly close process to evaluate results and explain variances Competencies Passionate About Finance: You are passionate about turning numbers into stories. Qualifications 4+ years finance experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. Experience in consumer products, retail or investment banking preferred. Attention to detail and ability to connect the dots while managing multiple projects at once. Strong analytical, decision making, and facilitation skills.
