Job Title: Facilities Manager

Duration: 2 Months (Temp to Hire)

Location: 333 W San Fernando, San Jose, CA 95113

Hours: M-F 7-4, Could be some after hour requirements, would be put on a call tree.

If there are major events, there would be some schedule flex, make sure their team has gotten the work done.

Summary:

As a Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of medium to large sized high-rise buildings and garages. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets and buildings, providing support to the Facilities Manager(s) and Chief Building Engineer regarding all workplace experience services, repairs, maintenance, landscaping, janitorial, and more

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:

• Need to have a working vehicle to get onsite

Team Overview:

• Would be managing a few people operationally

Resource's typical working day:

• It is a campus, buildings are within walking, 4 building
• Headquarter building 2 million square feet
• Client is onsite

Must Have Skills:

• Workplace services experience
• Finance
• General overall building information system
• Soft skills: responsive to client, attention to detail and follow through
• high rise experience
• Need somebody with a hospitality mindset
• Need someone tactical
• Need to have professional writing skills, strong in tracking emails

Nice to have skills:

• Has workplace experience services event setup, meeting setups. Also looking for someone who is strong in financials, purchase orders, budgeting, as well as accruals and variances.
• Commercial real estate experience not residential
• Some level of understand of base building system, HVAC, plumbing, electrician (needs to have knowledge, does not need to have actual hands-on experience)

Software skills:

• Working with emails.
