Location: South Central Phoenix
Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000
Overview:
A leading heavy equipment manufacturer is seeking a results-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficient material flow to support production and ensuring timely fulfillment across both B2B and B2C channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations:
- Manage daily operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping
- Oversee safe use of equipment (forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks)
- Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts and reconciliation
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow
- Distribution & Fulfillment:
- Lead order fulfillment across dealer and direct-to-consumer channels
- Coordinate with logistics to streamline shipping operations and reduce costs
- Monitor key metrics such as OTIF, freight spend, and lead times
- Manufacturing Support:
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to production lines
- Align inventory with production schedules and mitigate delays
- Collaborate with procurement and planning teams
- Leadership & Development:
- Supervise and develop warehouse staff; manage hiring, training, and performance
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Encourage collaboration across departments
- Systems & Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Leverage ERP/WMS systems (Acumatica preferred) for inventory accuracy
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of warehouse leadership in a manufacturing setting (heavy equipment preferred)
- Experience with both B2B and B2C distribution
- Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems; Acumatica experience a plus
- Familiarity with export compliance and large equipment shipping
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
