Legal Assistant – Insurance Litigation

Location: Charleston, SC (downtown)

Salary: $48,000 – $60,000 (Based on Experience)

We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant to join our Insurance Litigation team in Charleston, SC.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage scheduling, dictation, transcription, and time entry
• Maintain and monitor attorney calendars
• Draft, revise, and manage legal documents
• Track statewide rosters and court dockets
• Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, and scanning
• Provide direct support to paralegals and attorneys
• Pitch in with other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in a law firm environment
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and legal procedures
• Familiarity with court and administrative hearing protocols
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced setting
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications
• Professional, communicative, and collaborative
• A stable and consistent work history
