Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Sr./Lead QA Engineer to join our team and lead the quality assurance efforts for our retail billing application in the utility industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in manual testing and a deep understanding of the utility sector's billing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA activities for the retail billing application.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
- Perform thorough manual testing to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers.
- Document and report testing results and provide actionable insights.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in Software QA, focusing on manual testing.
- Preferred experience in the utility industry, particularly with retail billing applications.
- Strong understanding of billing cycles, invoicing, payment processing, and account management within the utility sector.
- Proven hands-on experience in testing large-scale enterprise applications.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases, bug reports, and documentation.
