Job Description

Responsibilities -

  • Lead and oversee on-site installations, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Perform system diagnostics, testing, troubleshooting, and service calls.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the installation team, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Supervise and train junior technicians to ensure all tasks are performed according to industry standards and company policies.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and professional manner, complying with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and audits on completed installations for quality assurance.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports and documentation for all work performed, including test results and project status.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with system design, configuration, and integration as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and inventory, ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Monitor and manage the ongoing maintenance and management of installed systems.

Qualifications -

  • NICET Level 3 Certification in [Insert Relevant Discipline, e.g., Fire Alarm Systems, Security Systems, etc.].
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing installation teams.
  • Strong knowledge of local codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and diagnostic equipment proficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
