**What you'll do:**
This role will contribute to the success of the Supply Chain Operations business and Atlanta Gatorade by working directly with the warehouse team. This role supports the Atlanta Gatorade Manufacturing Plant and directly supports the Distribution Center (DC) Sr. Manager in the execution of all DC Operations.
**Major Action and Support Actions:**
* Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
* Support the DCs Window and LGV operations in efforts to drive service and reduce floor handling costs
* Lead technical and development initiatives to improve WMS key performance indicators and implement new WMS-related initiatives to improve productivity system-wide.
* Lead/manage/support identified WMS optimization training and development efforts for the site.
* Manage the development and implementation WMS-related tools and reports as needed to manage the business.
* Maintain and Troubleshoot Warehouse equipment such as Zebra printers, Computers, and Scanners.
* Support the adherence to DC AOP metrics, to include safety, cost & productivity
* Ensure the optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained to fulfill daily sales needs
* Provide timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs
* Manage and lead members of the warehouse management team.
* Assist with leading and managing loaders within the warehouse
* Ensure the Window and LGV teams are adequately staffed, trained, and developed
* Maintain the inventory system to aid in production scheduling Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
* Support Plant TPM efforts.
* Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly and salaried personnel
* Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
* Maintain the inventory system to aid in production scheduling
* Strong leadership, management, communication, analytical, quantitative, and technical skills are required in addition to the ability to implement productivity, customer and employee initiatives that drive efficiency and support key strategic objectives.
* Strong computer skills in MS Outlook, MS Office (especially Excel), Business Objects, SAP and preferred. Experience with inventory control, dispatch planning, LMS, WMS, Red Prairie a plus.
****Qualifications/Requirements****
* 5 7 years of Operations or Logistics experience
* A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
* Ability to influence cross-functional teams
* Ability to manage and resolve conflict
* Demonstrated project & change management experience
* 3-5 years of experience with WMS, Rebus, Folio, and Web Reports
* Experience with continuous improvement
* Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making
* Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
* Experience with vendor negotiation and customer interaction
* Strong analytical skills
* Must be willing to work occasional weekend support and flex scheduling as needed by the business
* Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
