Candidate should also have a background with cybersecurity, systems auditing and host based security systems. The successful candidate will also possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and systems. - Develop and implement automation scripts using tools such as Perl, Bash, and Ansible. - Configure and administer Network Attached Storage (NAS) and RAID drives. - Provide network support for Linux and Windows clients. - Manage SQL and NoSQL databases. - Monitor system performance and security. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: ? Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field ? Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience ? Required Technical Skills: - Strong background in Linux system administration. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python and/or Bash. - Experience with automation tools like Ansible. - Knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and RAID configuration. - Competency in networking for Linux and Windows clients. - Experience with SQL and NoSQL database management. - Security+ certification or equivalent (CISSP, CISA, etc.). - Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team. ?
