Enduring Hospitality Group was established just under two years ago and has experienced strong growth with the acquisition of three hotels in the Hamptons, Zion National Park, and Seattle and more in the immediate pipeline. We love to acquire, design, and own cool hotels in leisure markets like the Hamptons, Key West, Montana, etc. Basically hotels we’d choose to stay at in places we’d choose to go with draws like beaches, skiing, and national parks. We are building a lifestyle company focused on hotels but with restaurants and some for-sale branded residential.
We are seeking an Associate who will support all aspects of the firm’s investment and portfolio management processes, from initial deal due diligence/analysis through asset disposition. Development of marketing and reporting presentations, as well as the completion of other special projects required for strategic or marketing purposes will also be part of the responsibilities assigned to this professional on an as needed basis. The Associate serves a critical role in our entrepreneurial and fast-growing real estate investment company. You will report directly to ownership and will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of potential deals including market analysis
- Full underwriting, market analyses, due diligence and financial analysis of all potential acquisitions
- Once a deal is under offer, manage the due diligence process across all aspects of the transaction, including physical, financial, legal and operational reviews
- Assist in organizing the process from acquisition to exit; this includes financial model improvements, deal folder organization, etc
- Assist in preparing investment decks for new acquisitions as well as asset dispositions; prepare other documents required by the firm's investment committee and assist in the compilation of meeting minutes
- Assist in asset management activities including investor reporting and P&L management and analysis
- Assist in investor relations including development of marketing and reporting presentations, fundraising collateral, other research reports, and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of full time experience as an acquisition investment analyst / associate; preferably with hospitality experience
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a high degree of attention to detail
- Demonstrated/strong modeling and presentation skills in the real estate sector
- An understanding of real estate investment terminology and complex financial structures
- Ability to communicate in a highly professional manner when dealing with colleagues and third parties
- Expert in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- We are looking for a self-starter and proactively solves problems before they start. You should be a team player, someone who leads by example, and has a player/coach mentality.
- Must be a highly organized self-starter that functions well in a team of multi-taskers
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and consistently meeting deadlines
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics or real estate emphasis preferred
The role is fully remote with travel of 10-25%. The ideal candidate would be located in Dallas or Los Angeles. The salary range is a base of $80,000 - $100,000 with a bonus ranging from 20-40% commensurate with experience.
