Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of
Assisted Living Administrator for our 64-bed facility.
The
ALF Administrator reports to the CEO and is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing the operation of the Pines Assisted Living Facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Policy and Management - Establish and direct policies aligned with ALF and Pines mission goals.
- Develop and manage the annual budget to support facility objectives.
- Review and interpret monthly financial statements.
Resident Care - Implement care systems ensuring a high quality of life for residents.
- Ensure residents' rights to fair treatment, privacy, and civil rights.
- Consult with residents and families on care plans and admission processes.
Staff Management - Oversee staffing, payroll, orientation, and education programs.
- Evaluate staff performance and ensure proper delegation.
- Allocate manpower to meet individual and group resident needs.
Operational Goals - Develop short and long-term goals consistent with the organization's mission and resources.
- Manage census and resident acuity.
Health and Safety - Establish a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Implement infection control policies to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
Program Development - Plan in-service programs to address residents' needs and expectations.

Requirements The Ideal
ALF Administrator will meet the following requirements:
- Current Florida Nursing License required. Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University preferred.
- ALF Core Training completion preferred.
- Preferred minimum of three years of management experience in ALF setting
