A leading manufacturing company is searching for a contract Industrial Hygiene Technician to join their site EHS team. This position provides opportunities for growth and skill-building in a world-class environment.
The Role:
As a contract Industrial Hygiene Technician, you will work alongside experienced EHS professionals to advance safety standards directly impacting employee wellbeing. You’ll support monitoring, equipment management, and hygiene-related compliance work, with opportunities to develop both technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with quantitative and qualitative IH assessments, including pump testing, sampling, and calibration of equipment.
- Maintain industrial hygiene and safety equipment in collaboration with site maintenance teams.
- Conduct inspections of ventilated enclosures (fume hoods, biosafety cabinets) and align maintenance practices sitewide.
- Help ensure data collection, maintenance, and reporting supporting ongoing compliance.
- Participate in EHS training and safety communication activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Biology, Chemistry, or similar fields.
- Understanding of IH sampling, equipment calibration, and record-keeping preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
