Our full-service commercial mechanical and plumbing company was founded in 2015 to serve our partners throughout central Texas and beyond. With our deep understanding of complex mechanical projects, we offer expertise and flexibility in plumbing, HVAC piping, sheet metal, and process piping trades. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist with Complex Commercial Construction Projects based out of our office near Austin, TX.
Position Overview:
The HVAC/Plumbing Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HVAC and plumbing service department. They will manage a team of technicians and ensure high-quality service is provided to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, piping, construction, and service, with additional skills in repairs, installation, upgrades, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of HVAC and plumbing technicians.
- Develop and implement service policies and procedures.
- Schedule and assign service calls to technicians.
- Monitor and track service calls to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians when needed.
- Perform quality control checks on completed service work.
- Train and mentor new technicians.
- Maintain inventory of necessary parts and equipment.
- Communicate with customers to address any concerns or issues.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and find resolutions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing service.
- Strong knowledge, understanding, and hands-on experience working on HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and meeting service goals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software programs related to the HVAC and plumbing industry.
- Certifications in HVAC and plumbing are a plus.

- $75,000 - $100,000 base salary depending on experience
