Job Description

HR SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Assist field leaders with HR activities such as employee performance management, policy interpretation, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Serve as a trusted HR partner, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, acting as the primary contact for benefits-related inquiries.
  • Oversee case management for disability and medical leaves.
  • Develop, implement, and support the company’s performance review process, working with managers on performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and payroll, and generate required reports.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a motivated and satisfied workforce.
  • Operate independently with minimal direction, using sound judgment and expertise to address client-related issues.
  • Provide strategic and tactical HR leadership, advice, and counsel to Tomorrow RNG management to achieve business goals.
  • Coach and mentor Tomorrow RNG leaders on managing employee issues.
  • Lead performance management, compensation, training, and development programs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and serve as the liaison for payroll and benefits programs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A university degree in HR Management or a relevant discipline (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR/business experience, focusing on generalist/advisory roles in business support.
  • In-depth knowledge of Human Resource best practices, employment laws, and legislation.
  • Proficiency in high-volume sourcing and recruitment, particularly in field operations.
  • Experience in small to medium-sized companies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle people-related issues aligned with the organization’s core values and culture.
  • High ethical standards, diligence, and a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Highly organized, able to work independently, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel to sites as needed (40%-50% of the time).
  • Experience in the Gathering/Exploration Energy sector is preferred.
