Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join our acute care team. This role supports a broad range of clinical and operational pharmacy services within a Level II trauma center.
Position Summary:
Job Title: Inpatient-Pharmacist
Location: Schofield, WI 54476
Duration: 13 Weeks’ Contract (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day’s (8x5) M-F
Pay Range: $3000-$3500/ Gross Weekly
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care across multiple areas: ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, OR (cardiothoracic), cardiac cath, EPS, central pharmacy.
- Perform clinical dosing and monitoring including Vancomycin AUC, Aminoglycosides, Heparin, and TPN management.
- Support sterile compounding oversight and USP <797> compliance (IV room hands-on experience not required).
- Limited chemo preparation (occasional gemcitabine, mitomycin, methotrexate).
- Utilize Omnicell dispensing systems and document within Cerner.
Environment & Support:
- Pharmacy leadership: Chris Becker, R.Ph., Pharm.D., BCPS
- Full orientation provided (2–3 weeks)
- Collaborative team supported by pharmacy technicians
- Scrubs or professional attire acceptable
Requirements:
- Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical dosing background (Vanc AUC, Aminoglycosides, Heparin, TPN)
- Understanding of USP <797> standards
- Must note if the clinician has previously worked for Marshfield. Former employees must have an end date
