The Senior Manager, Lockheed Martin Government Affairs (LMGA), Las Vegas, Nevada, has experience and specific knowledge of roles, responsibilities and operations of the USAF Warfare Center, subordinate Wings and their associate units, Creech AFB, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC), and Edwards AFB test operations. Candidates must have general familiarization with Lockheed Martin products and services relevant to key customer set with ability to establish professional working relationships with appropriate military leaders, units, and nearby Nevada/California civilian communities to support Lockheed Martin business objectives. As the LMGA representative, provides support to coordinate engagement and communication between LM business area representatives and local government customers to create a competitive advantage and support long-term growth of Lockheed Martin.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the LMGA Field Office in Las Vegas, Nevada. Serve as the Lockheed Martin point-of-contact for the USAF Warfare Center and resident Wing Staffs. Provide Las Vegas area expertise to company program and Strategy & Business Development staffs and coordinate with other LMGA field offices to synchronize activities across common or complementary lines of effort to achieve business and customer objectives. Prioritize actions related to F-35 and F-22 Test and Evaluation, follow-on modernization, Collaborative Combat Aircraft, 5th/6th Generation tactics development, Advanced Battle Management/Joint All-Domain Command & Control and advanced virtual simulation capabilities. Identify and report emerging test or Tactics, Techniques and Procedures trends to influence company IRAD, new business or keep sold opportunities.

Assist as the singular LMGA Point of Contact for coordinating LM company engagements or contacts with Senior or strategically significant customers (key decision-makers or influential stakeholders) at the USAF Warfare Center and other Nellis, Creech, and Edwards units. Provide leadership and coordination for LM participation in Las Vegas area trade association events and in support of positive relations with local communities. Provide subject matter expertise supporting internal program reviews, color teams, and other business area events.

Travel as necessary to support relevant Lockheed Martin business opportunities and to maintain appropriate internal and external customer relationships.

Basic Qualifications

-Understanding of USAFWC/Nellis, Creech and Edwards AFB mission, responsibilities, and processes
-10+ years experience with current USAF systems
-Customer intimacy with key senior USAF leaders
-Familiarity with USAF platforms, programs and capabilities
-US DoD Top Secret Clearance (SCI eligibility desired)

Desired skills

-Recent experience with USAF Test enterprise and/or Advanced Operational Training programs
-Experience with 5th Generation weapons systems, USAF weapons and associated support assets
5th Generation operational aircrew experience; Weapons School graduate
Previous business development and customer relations experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $140,400 - $269,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $161,500 - $304,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
