Job Description
Shift Hours : 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Compensation : $19 - $20 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our 1st shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a stand-up reach truck, electric pallet jack, and using an RF scanner. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring that products are stored, loaded, and shipped accurately.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate a stand-up reach truck and electric pallet jack to move, load, and unload materials.
- Use an RF scanner to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Accurately document inventory movements and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience operating a stand-up reach truck and electric pallet jack.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as required.
