Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Allentown, PA
Schedule: M-Th, 7:30am- 5pm; Fri, 7:30am - 1pm; Sunday, 9am - 12pm
Position Overview:
The Forklift Driver will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the movement, storage, and management of materials within the facility. This position will also involve restocking the store, maintaining a clean and organized environment, assisting customers, and upholding safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and RF scanning equipment to manage inventory.
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Clean and maintain the facility, including returning samples taken down by customers and stocking the food pantry.
- Assist customers with carrying merchandise to their vehicles.
- Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
- Transport materials within the facility while optimizing and securing loads.
- Inspect forklifts and schedule maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Pick, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Identify and address workplace safety hazards.
- Adhere to production schedules and safety management standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Strong physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Mathematical aptitude
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
