About the Role
We are seeking skilled Flight Nurses to join an elite air medical team based in West Lafayette, IN . In this critical role, you’ll provide advanced medical care during air and ground transports, ensuring the safety and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients. This position offers a challenging, fast-paced environment with the opportunity to make a tangible impact every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex assessments, diagnoses, and emergency treatments for critically ill and injured patients during transport.
- Document accurate and detailed information for patient care and billing purposes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
- Enhance clinical expertise through ongoing training, skill labs, and clinical rotations.
- Maintain compliance with certifications, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Operate within the scope of practice as defined by the local Department of Health Services.
What You Bring
- Active RN License : Valid in the state of Indiana.
- Critical Care Experience : Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) in emergency or critical care settings.
- Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS (NRP preferred).
- Specialized Credentials : CFRN certification within 24 months of hire.
- Physical Requirements : Body weight below 235 lbs and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Preferred Qualifications : Flight or transport experience and instructor certifications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Pay : Hourly rates based on experience, with annual earnings potential of $97,452–$139,208.
- Sign-On Bonus : Up to $10,000 (available through January 31, 2025).
