Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to polish granite surfaces to meet quality standards.
- Work with precision and attention to detail to achieve smooth and uniform finishes.
- Interpret and follow templates accurately to achieve specific shapes, edges, and designs on granite surfaces.
- Collaborate with the client to ensure the proper alignment of templates and achieve the desired results.
- Maintain and calibrate polishing equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished granite surfaces to meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Address any imperfections or defects promptly and effectively.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating polishing equipment and handling materials.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and other relevant parties to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide input on process improvements and suggest innovative solutions.
- Prioritize and manage workload efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Granite Polisher with a focus on template usage.
- Proficiency in using polishing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to interpret and work with templates accurately.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a workshop environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
Pay
$18.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | 8:00am – 5:00pm | Monday - Friday
