On-site position in a busy distribution center. Strong leadership and distribution skills a must.

1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (Monday through Friday)

Supervise a team of order fulfillment associates/drivers to include conveyable, non-conveyable items either within a picking module or on battery-powered equipment
Leverage WMS to understand daily goal and cadence to maintain building balance and steady work flow
Monitor, coach and assist associates to improve individual and team performance
Develop and measure key performance indicators to drive productivity improvement
Perform root-cause analysis to expose the source of errors and identify opportunities for improvement, including identifying specific usernames to increase worker accountability
Work with other teams cross-functionally to ensure timely processing of orders to maintain accuracy customer promise
Planning and monitoring daily labor needs based on immediate and forecasted order & unit volumes
Evaluate staffing requirements to support varying workloads
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize cost effectiveness
Closely monitor order fulfillment activity and adjust bin size and min/max stocking levels to maximize overall warehouse capacity
Ensure compliance with standard processes and methodology for all order fulfillment–related activity within the warehouse

Qualifications:

automated system: OPEX Perfect Pick – helpful to have
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
2–4 years of experience in order fulfillment
Experience leading a team of 12–15 associates
Good organization and business administration skills
Attention to detail
Willingness to improve, learn and adapt
Ability to supervise, control, manage, instruct and lead others to complete the assigned tasks
Ability to manage time effectively
Ability to handle multiple functions and meet the deadlines consistently
